A new  non-contact and non-invasive method which enables to examine the ocular tissues in vertical sections with a high resolution of 10 micron. It is analogous to ultrasound however optical reflectivity is used instead of acoustic reflectivity. The high resolution and in-depth imaging enables to detect and follow the macula diseases in quantitative templates. The standard clinic ultrasounds limit the resolution with the wavelength which is 150 microns. SLO and scanner laser tomography etc. confocal imaging techniques do also limit the ocular abberations and maximum pupil entering diameter longitudinal resolution with 300 microns. OCT but has a longitudinal resolution of 10 microns. The macula edema, macula hole, epiretinal membrane, vitreoretinal composition, RPE and sensorial retina decollements may be examined in-depth and in detail.
